Tom Piercy

Tom leads Incenter Mortgage Advisors, the MSR trading and advisory subsidiary of Incenter’s integrated mortgage services platform. He has dedicated his entire professional career to the secondary mortgage markets with a specialty focus on providing mark-to-market valuations and trading of mortgage servicing rights and whole loans. More than 30 years of active trading have earned Tom first-call status from literally hundreds of industry buyers and sellers seeking secondary market MSR expertise in support of their risk and liquidity strategies. In addition to his leadership role at IMA, Tom helms the Incenter National Enterprise Business Development initiative: an elite team of seasoned industry executives focused on relationship building at the highest level of our client organizations. Tom lives with his family in Denver. He earned his BS in Finance and Accounting from DePaul University.

Bob Dowell

Bob Dowell joined Interactive Mortgage Advisors in 2005, more than 10 years before the firm’s 2016 acquisition by Incenter. For the past 18 years, he has led our Analytics practice and, in this role, is responsible for leading more than $80 billion in annual MSR transactions. Specific responsibilities include overseeing third-party mark-to-market valuations on approximately $5 trillion in UPB per year; the gathering of industry information, back-testing and support for auditor confirmations and testing of valuation assumptions. In addition, Bob supports the sales team by assisting in all transactions including data preparation & scrubbing, setting pricing expectations for sellers, working with buyers to maximize pricing for sellers and follow-up for all post-sale activity such as prepay protection, interim servicing functions, document holdback and reconciliation. In support of strategic hedging advisory, Bob provides sensitivity analyses to clients and their third-party hedge firms. He also led the development of our stratification software utilized for managing the data for valuations. Currently, this software can handle portfolios ranging in size from just a few hundred to well over 6 million loans. Prior to joining Incenter Mortgage Advisors, Bob held a similar position leading the MSR valuation and analytics team at Phoenix Capital, Inc. (1999-2005). Bob earned his BA in Business/Finance at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Rob Walters

As Director, Rob is responsible for Incenter Mortgage Advisors sales and business growth. A seasoned industry veteran, he has deep and broad experience in bulk and flow loan and servicing transactions, valuation, deal marketing, analytics, auctioning/bidding, purchase and sale negotiation and transaction closing. Key to his success are the carefully nurtured relationships he has built with some of the industry’s most prominent clients including the largest originator in the U.S., regional and national banks, independent mortgage companies, hedge funds and private equity firms. On average, Rob manages more than $100 billion in MSR transactions per year. He began his career in capital markets upon graduation from college in 1994. He has been actively analyzing and trading MSR since 2002. Prior to joining IMA in 2005, he ran the comparative analysis division at Phoenix Capital. Rob attended the University of Memphis and lives in Boulder, CO.

Samar Nicholson

Samar has been with Incenter Mortgage Advisors for 10 years. In her role as Vice President, Analytics, she is primarily responsible for assisting clients with full-service support regarding portfolio management, accounting, auditing and regulatory compliance. She works with the analytics team to provide perspective on the fair market value of the client asset given current market conditions and real-time data. She is also responsible for delivering reporting to assist with accounting functions such as capitalization, amortization and impairment testing.
As a key manager of the Analytics Department, Samar creates analytical reports for tracking projects and initiatives and monitors team performance to ensure milestones and goals are met. Prior to joining Incenter Mortgage Advisors, Samar held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at Aurora Bank FSB of Littleton, Colorado where she was responsible for creating and maintaining critical forecasts used to determine liquidity needs of the Bank. She earned her MBA at the University of Colorado, Denver and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado.

Ramie Azab
Senior MSR Analyst

Raymond “Ramie” Azab has worked in the MSR space since 2013, the same year he joined IMA. As Senior MSR Analyst, he oversees the daily management of all client data-related activity and the application of analytics models for the qualifying and pricing of MSR. Ramie works closely with senior leadership and sales in support of bulk and co-issue marketing and trading; playing an invaluable role during the short, intense bidding and awarding process. He also provides hands-on support for client reporting functions, engaging with client accounting teams to ensure they get the appropriate reporting for their transactional requirements. He is also responsible for generating reports in support of client accounting managers. Ramie also leads IMA’s market research initiatives that generate the near real-time data necessary to deliver the best recommendations to our clients.

Eric Taylor
Senior MSR Analyst

As Senior MSR Analyst, Eric is responsible for the management of client data and applying standard industry analytic models for quantifying and valuing MSR portfolios. He is also responsible for generating reports in support of client accounting areas, tracking portfolio performance from period to period, and producing performance reports on the asset compared with historic projections as well as industry standards. In addition, he gathers key market information for IMA research initiatives, shaping it into statistical data for gaining insight in support of MSR pricing decisions. Prior to IMA, Eric worked for Brown Brothers Harriman where he mainly focused on Investor Reporting. Eric also worked at PennyMac where he supported the valuations team with internal valuation marks. Eric has a B.A. degree in Economics from California Lutheran University.

Jack Eby
Senior Transaction Analyst

As our Senior Transaction Analyst, Jack manages portfolio data in support of the trading and transfer of our clients’ MSR assets. Specific duties include performing modeling functions, creating bulk sales settlement statements and working closing with transaction managers throughout the sale process. He also coordinates with brokerage staff to document, obtain and communicate market questions regarding portfolios between the seller and brokerage staff of potential market participants. In addition, he is responsible for tracking all reconciling items for MSR sale transactions from offering date through final holdback release. Jack attended the University of Denver and holds a Masters in Quantitative Methods of Applied Finance.

Jaclyn Carey

Jaclyn Carey is Director of Transaction Management at Incenter Mortgage Advisors. For the past 10 years, she has managed mortgage servicing trades totaling over $500 billion in principal balance. Jaclyn advises clients on all aspects of bulk and co-issue servicing transactions, providing critical market color and guidance to facilitate optimal outcomes on servicing transfers. Prior to joining IMA, Jaclyn worked for Promontory Financial Group. Jaclyn is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law (JD 2011), where she was an editor of the International Law Journal, and Wheaton College (BA 2005).

Jessica Pejka

Jessica Pejka is the VP of Transaction Management at Incenter Mortgage Advisors. She has spent the last 10 years gaining experience in a number of areas of mortgage servicing from default to servicing transfers to Mortgage Servicing Rights (“MSR”) trades. Jessica advises clients on all aspects of MSR transactions, including contract negotiations, due diligence, settlement and transfers of servicing. Prior to joining IMA, Jessica worked for RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation and was integral in standing up the RoundPoint Exchange(“RPX”). Jessica was a member of the MBA Future Leaders cohort of 2022 and earned a BS from Southern Illinois University.

Andy Beggins

Andy Beggins joined Incenter Mortgage Advisors in 2021 as Director of Analytics. He is responsible for overseeing and managing all MSR pricing and analytics. In addition, he is on IMA’s electronic MSR (eMSR) trading platform team, which brings sellers and servicers together to deliver competitive pricing and operating efficiency within the co-issue marketplace. Prior to joining Incenter Mortgage Advisors, Andy held various positions within Specialized Loan Servicing LLC (“SLS”) which has since been acquired by Computershare Ltd. Most recently at SLS, he was Vice President of Strategic Analytics where he provided pricing analytics around Mortgage Servicing Rights (“MSRs”) and structuring of transactions with servicing clients and capital partners. He also provided various support to corporate initiatives, including budgeting, portfolio forecasting and general corporate strategy. He was a member of SLS’s Executive Committee and its Investment Committee. Andy began his career in the Natural Gas Industry, forming a company that provided economic portfolio optimization and hedging strategies to various market participants. This venture was sold to Koch Industries in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Operations Research from the University of Texas at Austin.
